General Care

Your EdenLily jewellery is crafted with care, but all metals benefit from a little attention. Follow these tips to keep your piece looking its best.

Daily Wear

• Remove before showering, swimming or exercising — moisture, chlorine and sweat can tarnish or discolour metals over time.
• Apply perfume and lotions first — let them dry before putting on your jewellery to avoid chemical build-up.
• Take off before sleeping — reduces the chance of scratches and chain tangles.

Cleaning

• Gently wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear.
• For deeper cleaning, use warm water with a tiny drop of mild washing-up liquid. Rinse and pat dry thoroughly.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, toothpaste, or ultrasonic cleaners on engraved pieces — they can wear away fine detail.

Storage

• Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or the box it arrived in.
• Keep away from direct sunlight and humid environments.
• Anti-tarnish strips inside your jewellery box help prevent discolouration.

Metal-Specific Tips

Metal	Care tip
Sterling Silver	Polish with a silver cloth periodically. Tarnishing is natural — a silver dip can restore shine.
Gold Plated	Avoid water and chemicals. The gold layer will wear thinner over time with heavy use.
Rose Gold	Same as gold plated — keep dry and store carefully.
Stainless Steel	Very durable and tarnish-resistant. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Your QR Code Engraving

The QR code is permanently laser-engraved into the metal. It will not rub off or fade under normal wear. If the QR code becomes difficult to scan, gently clean the surface — dirt or lotion residue can interfere with scanning.
