Jewellery Care Guide
Your EdenLily jewellery is designed to be worn, enjoyed and treasured.
A little regular care can help keep it looking its best for longer.
Everyday Jewellery Care
We recommend removing your jewellery before:
Showering or bathing
Swimming
Exercising
Going to bed
Using household cleaning products
Applying perfume, hairspray or beauty products
Jewellery can naturally collect oils, dirt and cosmetic products through everyday wear, so keeping it clean and dry will help maintain its appearance.
How to Clean Stainless Steel Jewellery
Most EdenLily jewellery is made from stainless steel.
To clean it, gently wipe the surface using a soft, clean cloth.
If it needs a deeper clean, you can use a soft cloth lightly dampened with warm water.
Make sure the jewellery is dried thoroughly afterwards.
Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners and rough cloths, as these may damage the surface finish.
Caring for Gold-Tone Jewellery
Gold-tone jewellery should be treated gently to help preserve its finish.
Avoid:
Harsh chemicals
Abrasive polishing products
Rough cleaning cloths
Prolonged exposure to water
Direct contact with perfume and hairspray
When you're not wearing your jewellery, store it somewhere dry and preferably away from other pieces that could scratch the surface.
Caring for Silver-Tone Jewellery
Silver-tone stainless steel is durable and easy to care for.
Use a soft cloth to remove fingerprints, oils and everyday marks.
Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing products unless they are specifically suitable for stainless steel jewellery.
Caring for 925 Sterling Silver Chains
Selected EdenLily necklaces may offer a 925 sterling silver chain option.
Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time.
This is normal and does not mean the jewellery is damaged.
A suitable silver-polishing cloth can be used gently to restore its shine.
Always follow the instructions supplied with any jewellery cleaning product.
Looking After Engraved Jewellery
Your personalised engraving should be treated with the same care as the rest of your jewellery.
Avoid scrubbing directly over the engraved area with abrasive materials.
A soft cloth is usually all you need to keep the surface clean.
Looking After QR Jewellery
If your jewellery includes an engraved QR code, try to keep the QR area clean and free from scratches.
If your phone is struggling to scan the code:
Gently wipe the area with a soft cloth
Make sure the jewellery is in good lighting
Hold your phone steady
Allow the camera a moment to focus
Avoid using abrasive products directly over the QR engraving.
How to Store Your Jewellery
When you're not wearing your jewellery:
Keep it somewhere dry
Store it away from direct moisture
Keep separate pieces from rubbing against each other
Use a jewellery box or soft pouch where possible
Avoid leaving jewellery in bathrooms or other damp environments
Proper storage can help reduce scratching and general wear.
Can I Wear My Jewellery in Water?
We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, bathing or swimming.
Regular exposure to water, chlorine, salt water and cleaning products can affect the appearance of jewellery over time.
Removing it beforehand is the safest way to help preserve the finish.
Can I Wear My Jewellery Every Day?
Yes, EdenLily jewellery is suitable for regular wear, but like all jewellery, it will benefit from being looked after.
Taking it off before activities such as swimming, exercising, showering or sleeping can help reduce unnecessary wear.
Keep Your Jewellery Looking Its Best
Personalised jewellery often carries much more meaning than an ordinary accessory.
Looking after it properly helps keep the piece looking its best while you continue to enjoy the story behind it.
Memories you can wear.
Stories you can share.
