Yes! The QR code is laser-engraved into the metal so it won't wear off. It's as permanent as the jewellery itself.
Can I buy one for myself?+
Absolutely! Many customers buy QR jewellery for themselves. It's perfect for keeping a personal memory page, storing medical details on a bracelet you always wear, or linking to your social profiles. When your piece arrives, simply scan the QR code to claim the page and set it up however you like.
Can I buy one as a gift?+
Yes, QR jewellery makes a truly unique gift. Purchase the piece and have it delivered to the recipient (or give it in person). They scan the QR code themselves, create a free account, and choose what their page becomes. You're giving them the jewellery and the experience of making it their own.
If I buy it as a gift, how does the recipient set it up?+
It's really simple. When the recipient scans the QR code on the jewellery for the first time, they'll see a welcome screen inviting them to claim the page. They create a free EdenLily account (just an email and password), choose a page type (Memory Page, Biography, Medical Details or Forwarding Link), pick a privacy level, and they're done. The whole setup takes under two minutes.
Does the recipient need to pay anything?+
No, the QR page is included with the jewellery. The recipient creates a free account and their page is ready to use at no extra cost. There's an optional Gold upgrade for extra photo storage, but the standard free tier is generous and most people never need more.
Can I set the page up before giving it as a gift?+
The page is claimed by the first person to scan the QR code. If you'd like to pre-load it with photos or a message before gifting, you can scan and claim it yourself, set everything up, and then share the account login details with the recipient. They can also request a password reset to take over the account with their own email.
Who claims the page, the buyer or the recipient?+
Whoever scans the QR code first claims it. This means you can buy a piece as a gift; the recipient scans it, creates a free account, and it becomes their page to personalise.
Can I change the page type after setting it up?+
Yes, you can switch between Memory Page, Biography, Medical Details and Forwarding Link at any time from your dashboard.
What privacy options are available?+
Three modes: Public (anyone can view), PIN-Protected (visitors enter a 4-digit code you set), or Owner Only (only you when logged in). Medical pages default to Owner Only for your safety.
Can visitors upload photos to my memory page?+
Opt in via a toggle in your dashboard. When enabled, anyone who scans your jewellery can add photos to your memory page. Perfect for weddings, birthdays and family gatherings where everyone wants to contribute.
How many photos can I store?+
The free tier gives you 40 photos, which is generous for everyday use. If you need more space (for example, a wedding memory page with hundreds of photos) you can upgrade to Gold for expanded storage. You can manage your plan from your account dashboard.
What happens if I buy multiple QR pieces?+
Each piece of jewellery has its own unique QR code and its own independent page. You can manage all of your pages from a single EdenLily account and switch between them on your dashboard.
Can I use the QR code to link to my Instagram or website?+
Yes! Choose the Forwarding Link page type during setup. Paste any URL and anyone who scans your jewellery is redirected there instantly, with no intermediate page. You can change the destination URL whenever you like.
Is my data safe?+
Your data is stored securely and you control who sees it with our three privacy modes. PIN-protected pages require a code to view, and Owner Only pages are visible only when you're logged in. We never share your content with third parties.
What if I lose access to my account?+
Use the forgotten password link on the login page. We'll send a reset link to the email address registered to your account.
What if my jewellery is lost or damaged?+
Your QR page and all its content are stored safely in your EdenLily account, not on the jewellery itself. If you lose a piece, your memories and data remain safe. If you purchase a replacement piece, contact us and we can link your existing page to the new QR code.
