Memorial Jewellery: Honouring Loved Ones Through Wearable Memories
When someone important to us is no longer here, memories can take on an even deeper meaning.
Memorial jewellery can offer a gentle, personal way to keep a name, date, message or memory close.
At EdenLily, our personalised necklaces can be engraved with meaningful details, and selected pieces can also include a QR code linked to a digital page.
What Is Memorial Jewellery?
Memorial jewellery is created in remembrance of someone special.
It can be personalised with details such as:
A name
Initials
Birth and remembrance dates
A meaningful date
A short message
Coordinates of a special place
A word or phrase connected to them
There is no single right way to create a memorial piece.
What matters most is choosing something that feels meaningful to you.
Choosing the Right Engraving
Some people prefer something simple, such as a name or initials.
Others may choose a date, a short phrase or a place that carries a special memory.
Ideas might include:
Forever loved
Always remembered
Always with me
Until we meet again
A nickname
A meaningful date
The coordinates of a special place
A word or phrase that reminds you of them
You do not need to fit an entire story onto the jewellery.
Sometimes one small detail can hold a great deal of meaning.
Add a QR Memory Page
Selected EdenLily jewellery can include a unique QR code engraved directly onto the piece.
When scanned with a compatible smartphone, the QR code can open a digital page connected to the jewellery.
For memorial jewellery, a Memory Page can offer a thoughtful way to keep photographs and moments together in one place.
You can create separate events and add photographs connected to different memories.
A standard Memory Page currently includes space for up to 40 photographs, with additional storage options available if you need more.
Create a Biography
You can also choose the Biography page type.
This gives you space to share more about the person's life and the memories connected to them.
You could include:
Their life story
Family memories
Important milestones
Favourite places
Personal qualities
Special moments
Messages from family and friends
A Biography can become a personal digital tribute linked directly to the jewellery.
Let Family and Friends Contribute
If you choose a Memory Page, you can enable visitor photo uploads.
This allows family and friends to contribute their own photographs when they scan the QR code.
It can be a gentle way to bring together memories held by different people and create a shared collection over time.
Visitor-uploaded photographs count towards the available storage on the page.
Choose the Privacy That Feels Right
Your QR page can be managed through your EdenLily account.
Available privacy options may include public access, PIN protection and owner-only access.
Choose the setting that feels most comfortable for you and appropriate for the content you are sharing.
How Long Is the QR Page Stored?
The initial storage period for an EdenLily QR page is 24 months from the date the page is first claimed.
Before the storage period ends, renewal reminders are sent to the email address registered to the account.
The page can then be renewed for additional 12-month periods.
For full details, please read the EdenLily QR & Memory Page Storage Policy.
Memorial Jewellery for Someone Special
Memorial jewellery can be created in remembrance of anyone who holds a special place in your life.
That may be:
A parent
A grandparent
A partner
A child
A sibling
A friend
Or someone else who meant a great deal to you
The relationship itself does not need to be explained.
The meaning belongs to you.
A Personal Way to Remember
Everyone experiences loss differently, and there is no right or wrong way to remember someone.
For some people, having a small, personal keepsake can feel comforting.
For others, the meaning may come from the memories, photographs or words connected to it.
A name, date, photograph or story can carry a great deal of emotion and significance.
Memorial jewellery is simply one way to keep those memories close, in a form that feels personal to you.
Memories you can wear.
Stories you can share.rial design.
